CHENNAI: The national president of BJP Mr.Amit Shah will visit Tamil Nadu after the Gujarat Assembly elections and hence the party leaders / office-bearers should be ready with their activity reports, Mr.Arvind Menon from the BJP Headquarters in New Delhi has said.
Addressing a meeting at Kamalalayam in Chennai on November 13th 2017 (Monday), he had stressed that the party activities at all levels – of 19 departments and 10 projects – should be stepped up by the time of Mr.Amit Shah’s visit to Tamil Nadu.
“Mr.Amit Shah will ask you about the progress of work in all the 19 departments of our party in Tamil Nadu and about the activities carried out under 10 projects. So, be ready with a pucca report…..There has to be more focus on policy research, policy studies, training for party workers, libraries in districts, etc. So, gear up the work in all the 49 BJP districts in Tamil Nadu,” Mr.Arvind Menon has said.
Mr.Menon, who is based at the party headquarters in Delhi, is the national in-charge of departments created by the BJP leadership. He reviews the progress of teams in all States.
On November 13th, the activities undertaken by each department / project in Tamil Nadu, were explained to him.
EXECUTION IS IMPORTANT.
Tamil Nadu BJP State president Dr.Tamilisai Soundarajan had exhorted the members of all departments and project teams to enhance productivity and show net results by the time Mr.Amit Shah visits the State.
“Have a good follow-up mechanism in all districts, hold periodical State and district level meetings…..Execution is important for us, do innovative programmes, communicate with each other and achieve the targets,” she had suggested.
Shri.Kesavan Vinayagam, State BJP organisational general secretary, welcomed Mr.Menon and later addressed the party office-bearers who had come from various places in Tamil Nadu.
