CHENNAI: BJP national leader and national in-charge of 19 departments created by the party leadership, Mr.Arvind Menon, on Monday (November 13th 2017) held an extensive review meeting at the BJP headquarters Kamalalayam in Chennai with the conveners of those departments in Tamil Nadu.
He took stock of the activities carried out by each department in the party, asked specific questions, given instructions on the tasks to be completed by the end of this month November.
Apart from reviewing the programmes of all the 19 BJP departments in Tamil Nadu, Mr.Arvind Menon also spent time to know about the works done by the team members of 10 projects.
“Our national president Mr.Amit Shah is very particular on effective functioning of 19 departments and 10 projects………The first and foremost important task for all you is to form / constitute district level teams in your respective departments……Take the help of BJP district presidents and complete that work by the end of this month,” he told the conveners of 19 departments.
PREPARE ACTIVITY ROAD MAP FOR ONE YEAR :
Mr.Arvind Menon, who has come from the BJP Headquarters in New Delhi to hold this nearly two-hour review meeting in Chennai in the presence of all Tamil Nadu BJP leaders, had urged the department members to prepare activity road map – plan of action for one year.
“Even if you find two members for your department in a district, go ahead without delay……Your department and your project should conduct one programme every month…..It is a must…..Our organisation system gets strengthened if every department and all project teams are busy with activities at the ground level,” he observed.
STATE LEADERS PRESENT.
Several State leaders of the Tamil Nadu BJP were present at the meeting in Kamalalayam.
They include State president Dr.Tamilisai Soundarajan, general secretary (Org) Shri.Kesava Vinayagan, general secretaries Mrs.Vanathi Srinivasan, Mr.K.S.Narendran, Mr.Karuppu Muruganandham and Mr.Mohanrajulu.
Each team briefed Mr.Arvind Menon about their activities in the last two or three months and their future plans. The members of departments / projects came from various districts in Tamil Nadu to attend the review / progress meeting in Chennai on November 13th 2017.
