MADURAI: The Department of Computer Science of Velammal College of Engineering and Technology (VCET) in Madurai had organised e-Bhogi programme here on February 15th 2024 to create e-waste public awareness, in association with the college’s NSS wing and Reccsar Pvt Ltd.
A rally by students was also arranged from the college campus to Velammal Vidyalaya School, according to a press release received from the college today.
Senior Principal Dr.N.Suresh Kumar and Principal Dr.P.Alli took part in the program along with Head of the Department Dr.R.Deepalakshmi and librarian Dr.Gopala Krishnan. The organisers of this e-Waste awareness event include Mrs.C.B.Selva Lakshmi and Mrs.R.Sarala, the press release added.
