MADURAI: In an informal meeting with professionals, special invitees and BJP office-bearers in Madurai on November 8th 2017, Union Minister of State Mr.Pon.Radhakrishnan had said that “those people who keep on criticising Prime Minister Mr.Modi have clapped for him when he came to Chennai.”
“More than 500 VIPs and top personalities from various fields and departments besides leaders of political parties attended the meeting in Chennai on November 6th when Mr.Narendra Modi participated…….For the first time, all parties turned up for the meeting because Modi came….Those who criticise him have now clapped after listening to him,” the Union Minister added.
Mr.Pon.Radhakrishnan was in Madurai on November 8th 2017 to participate in the first anniversary success of demonetisation by Modi government at meeting held in Tamil Nadu Chamber auditorium in the city.
DON’T WORRY ABOUT GST:
Answering questions and doubts asked by the invitees and BJP office-bearers about GST rates and slabs, he assured them that the GST Council has been meeting periodically to reduce the tax rates.
“Our government will help small traders, retail businessmen, customers etc…..Initial teething problems are getting solved and the GST Council will consider all the requests and representations about GST rates for various products and services,” Mr.Pon.Radhakrishnan added.
BJP Madurai Urban district president Mr.Saseeraman, State vice-president Mr.S.Surendran, State Secretary Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan and Women’s Wing State president Mrs.A.R.Mahalakshmi were among those who were present.
