MADURAI: The Naidu community had played a significant role in nation-building activities irrespective of their place of origin or settlement or their language and in the State of Tamil Nadu their contributions are much laudable, said Rajya Sabha MP and BJP senior leader Shri.La.Ganesan here on Friday.
“Whether they speak Telugu or Tamil is not the matter…..Their spirit of nationalism and social service in various spheres of public life are an example…..In our freedom movement and in our history, they played active role and I compliment the Naidu community in Tamil Nadu,” he added.

Mr.La.Ganesan was the chief guest at the awards distribution function organised by Naidu Seva Sangam at MADITSSIA Hall in Madurai on November 3rd 2017 (Friday).
Mr.P.K.Sampathkumar, founder of Naidu Seva Sangam – Madurai, and his team took lot of efforts in organising the function by inviting hundreds of families from Naidu community and also in identifying the awards’ recipients.
AWARD WINNERS:
The Naidu Seva Sangam presented Lifetime Achievement Awards in three different categories of Education, Business and Service.
The awards were given to Mr.B.Ashok Kumar of Sri Kandasamy Vidhyalaya Higher Secondary School at Pappunaickanpatti in Madurai district for his contribution in the filed of education while the lifetime achievement award for business was presented to Mr.M.Vijayaraghavan, chairman, Jayaram Bakery Group.
The award for social service was given to Dr.S.Ramakrishnan of Cuddalore who is the State president of Velama Naidu Mahajana Sangam, Tamil Nadu.
Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan, Tamil Nadu BJP State Secretary, Mr.Saseeraman, BJP Madurai city president and others were present.
