MADURAI: Tamil Nadu Minister for Sports Development and Youth Welfare Mr.Udhayanidhi Stalin had today (January 17th 2024) personally met Ms.Aai Purnammal in Madurai, at her residence in Surya Nagar in Madurai city, to thank her for donating one acre and 52 cents of land for constructing building for a government school near Othakadai near here in Kodikulam village.
She donated the 1.52 acres land in memory of her late daughter Janani to the Government for constructing additional building, according to a press release received here today. The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin had expressed thanks and gratitude on behalf of the State government to Mrs.Aai Puranammal for her great gesture because it will benefit thousands of students.
To express thanks, Mr.Udhayanidhi Stalin went to her residence at Surya Nagar in Madurai city along with Commercial Taxes and Registration Minister Mr.P.Moorthy, Madurai District Collector M.S.Sangeetha, Mayor Ms.Indirani Ponvasanth, Madurai North MLA Mr.K.Thalapathi and others.
