CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu Governor Mr.R.N.Ravi and his wife Laxmi Ravi had paid floral tributes to freedom fighters Veerapandiya Kattabomman and Veeramangai Velu Nachiyar at Raj Bhavan in Chennai today- on January 3rd 2024 – on their birth anniversary.
“The nation pays humble tributes to the legendary freedom fighters Velu Nachiyar and Veerapandiya Kattabomman, they are synonymous with indomitable courage, determination and valiance , who lit the spark of freedom struggle at a very critical period of our history and inspired countless people to unite and fight against British colonial rule. Their innumerable sufferings and utmost sacrifices will always remind us of our national responsibilities in making ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047,” the Tamil Nadu Governor Mr.R.N.Ravi has said in his message today after paying tributes to the two great freedom fighters.
