
MADURAI: Former Chief Minister and leader of opposition in Tamil Nadu Assembly Mr.Edappadi K.Palaniswami had congratulated and appreciated Madurai-based ‘Maduraiyin Atchaya Paathiram’ Trust for completing 950 days of providing free food to the needy people.
The founder of ‘Maduraiyin Atchayapaathiram’ voluntary organisation Mr.Nellai Balu had met the former Chief Minister Mr.Edappadi K.Palaniswami at Salem yesterday- on December 15th 2023.
“Former Chief Minister and opposition leader in the Tamil Nadu Assembly had greeted us and extended us his best wishes as we had successfully completed 950 days of our free food service to the poor and needy people. We are providing free food daily to about 300 hungry people on roadside in Madurai, roadside dwellers, orphans and the deprived persons. The ‘Maduraiyin Atchaya Paathiram’ Trust is also providing food in the emergency ward of Government Rajaji Hospital in Madurai,” Mr.Nellai Balu has said here today.
Mr.R.B.Udhayakumar, former Minister and Deputy Leader of Opposition, was present when Mr.Nellai Balu met the former Chief Minister Mr.Edappadi K.Palaniswami in Salem yesterday.
