MADURAI: Kishor Kumar, a Plus One student of Al Ameen Higher Secondary School at K.Pudur in Madurai, got selected for the National Judo competition to be held in Punjab in December 2023.
He won the national judo selection event in Under 17 Under 50kg category conducted by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) in Perambalur district on September 29th and 30th and qualified for the national judo competition, according to a press release received from the school yesterday.
A felicitation function was organised in the school where Headmaster Mr.Sheik Nabi and AHMs Mr.Jahir Hussain and Mr.Rahmathulla along with teachers and staff had congratulated the young judo achiever Kishor Kumar. They also lauded the role played by physical education teacher Mansoor and coach Ajay, the press release added.
