MADURAI: Within a day after conducting an exclusive orientation session for social media teams and volunteers of the party, the Madurai district BJP (urban and rural units) became very proactive on social media from September 24th 2017.
The social media wing training session for party office-bearers / cadres in Madurai Parliamentary Constituency area was held in Madurai city on September 23rd evening.
Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan, BJP State Secretary – Tamil Nadu and party’s Madurai Division In-charge, spoke on the urgent need for party cadres to be aggressive and active in social media space.
“Our political opponents are wantonly spreading wrong information to the people……We have to take Twitter handle and Facebook / WhatsApp for our political attack and counter attack….Let us be ready with content, facts and figures to tell the truth to people,” he exhorted.
TO TAKE ON POLITICAL ADVERSARIES:
The welfare schemes and achievements of Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi’s government at the Centre, creating public opinion towards us before the elections on important current issues, taking on political adversaries and ensure BJP victory in polls will be the agenda of social media teams in Madurai district.
Mr.Saseeraman, Madurai Urban district president, has said that the social media training – orientation programme was started from Madurai and it is a necessity for the party cadres.
D.Dillip Kumar, State Convenor of Tamil Nadu BJP IT&Social Media department, Mr.S.Ramanujam, IT&SM State Secretary, Mr.S.Ananthakrishnan, zonal in-charge for social media activities and Mr.Senthil Alagar, BJP social media in-charge for Madurai Parliament Constituency, were among those who spoke.
