MADURAI: Hundreds of women took part in the ‘Kumkuma Puja’ held on July 23rd 2023 at Arulmigu Bhagavathi Amman Temple situated at Kovilkarai in Athiyuthu village near Chittarkottai in Ramanathapuram district.
Members of the temple committee of Arulmigu Udharamudiya Ayyanar Bhagavathi Amman Temple in Athiyuthu village near Chittarkottai in Ramnad district had organized the ‘Kunkuma archanai’ in the temple premises on Sunday, 23rd July 2023.
Devotees said that this Bhagavathi Amman Temple is a very famous temple in Ramanathapuram district and kunkuma puja is held every month, where hundreds of women throng the temple to perform ‘kunguma puja’ to the goddess. The kunkuma arachanai is being organized in this temple for the last 10 years.
