MADURAI: The Tamil Nadu State unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) which is jubilant over the visit of party’s national president to the State from August 22nd to 24th is making lot of efforts to ensure that his arrival visit will mark a turning point in Tamil Nadu politics.
Among the several sessions lined up during Mr.Shah’s trip, one of them is a power-point presentation to be made in Coimbatore on August 24thon the various activities carried out to strengthen BJP by implementing and publicising the policies and projects of Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi’s government at the Centre.
Mr.Pon.Radhakrishnan, Union Minister of State for Road Transport, Ports and Shipping, who visited Madurai on August 20th (Sunday) for participating in various engagements in the city, was briefly shown the content and pictures taken for the power point presentation.
Among the BJP leaders who were with him include State Vice-President Mr.S.Surendran, urban district president Mr.Saseeraman, district general secretary Mr.K.K.Srinivasan and district vice-president Mr.Hariharan.
