MADURAI; Tamil Nadu Ministers and political leaders from various political parties have paid their homage and respects to educationist, industrialist and philanthropist Karumuttu T.Kannan who passed away today morning in Madurai on May 23rd 2023. Karumuttu T Kannan had passed away at this home in Kochadai in Madurai city today morning following a brief illness.
Tamil Nadu Ministers Mr.Udhayanidhi Stalin, Mr.P.T.R.Palanivel Thiagarajan, Mr.P.Moorthy, Mr.KR.Periyakaruppan besides DMK MP Ms.Kanimozhi have paid their last respects to Karumuttu T Kannan in Madurai today afternoon. Among those who also paid their homage include Madurai District Collector M.S.Sangeetha, Madurai Corporation Commissioner Mr.Simranjit Singh and MLAs Mr.K.Thalapthy and Mr.A.Venkatesan, along with a large number of officials, students and general public from southern districts of Tamil Nadu. The last rites of Karumuttu T Kannan will be performed tomorrow in Madurai at 2 pm.
