MADURAI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Tamil Nadu took a major decision to be in direct connect with the people, to communicate the party’s programmes and to counter the opposition parties’ wrong campaign by having exclusive Media Centres across Tamil Nadu very soon.
These media centres which will disseminate the information on BJP’s policies, programmes, Central government schemes and take on the opposition parties spreading wrong information about the BJP, will come up at various places in Tamil Nadu in a phased manner very soon.
The first well-equipped BJP Media Centre will be ready in Chennai ahead of the visit of party’s national president Mr.Amit Shah’s visit to Tamil Nadu. This Chennai centre will be inaugurated in a few days.
Dr.Tamilisai Soundararajan, BJP State President and the party’s well-known media voices representing media cell and the party organisation including Mr.K.T.Raghavan and Mr.Narayanan Thirupathi held a meeting in Tamil Nadu BJP headquarters in Chennai T.Nagar – Kamalalayam – on August 9th 2017 (Wednesday) with invitees from districts to discuss the plan for starting BJP media centres.
Media Cell convenor and Media Cell State president of the BJP Mr.A.N.S.Prasad told ‘Lotus Times’ English news website www.lotustimes.org on August 10th 2017 (Thursday) that the proposed media centres of the party in Tamil Nadu will help BJP leaders and spokespersons to counter the opposition with facts and figures.
“This is an important decision taken by our party in this centenary year of our ideologue Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya…through these media centres we will reach the right information to media and people….the Central government schemes will be rightly / prominently highlighted…..and above all our party will be able to disprove the opposition parties’ wrong charges,” Mr.Prasad has said.
MADURAI, COIMBATORE ETC:
The State leadership of the BJP is gearing up to establish Media Centres in Madurai, Coimbatore, Tiruchi, Tirunelveli and other places.
From Madurai, the Madurai Urban city BJP district general secretary (organisation) Mr.K.K.Srinivasan attended the Tamil Nadu BJP Media Cell meeting held at party headquarters Kamalalayam in Chennai on August 9th 2017.
“We are planning for huge programmes in our State very soon…these media centres will help to provide correct information through televsiion channels, print media, social media and other forum…..commemorating with Mr.Amit Shah’s visit, the well-equipped BJP Media Centre in Chennai will be inaugurated with studio, library etc….,” Mr.Srinivasan said.
The media centres will work for information to give regular news updates, facts, history, gather information on different subjects and prepare the party organisation with quality content so that they will be able to give suitable reply with facts to the opposition parties.
