CHENNAI: The large turnout of youth and general public at the huge public protest cum rally in Chennai organised in Chennai on August 7th 2017 (Monday) is a strong indication that the youngsters in this State are on the side of our Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi, said the BJP youth wing State general secretary Mr.C.M.Mari Chakkaravarthy.
A rally was organised by the Tamil Nadu BJP Youth Wing in Chennai to bring in State government’s attention towards three main public demands: Improvement of education – teaching-learning quality in government schools, imposing complete prohibition / banning liquor shops in Tamil Nadu and to immediately conduct elections to local bodies in the State.
Ms.Poonam Mahajan, BJP Youth Wing national president, participated in the protest meeting in Chennai.
BJP Youth Wing State president Mr.Vinoj P Selvam and other youth wing leaders in the State including Mr.Chakkaravarthy and Mr.Vasantha Rajan (both general secretaries) along with other youth wing office-bearers at State level and in districts worked hard for the success of this massive event in Chennai.
OUR PARTY IS STRONGER:
After the rally and after meeting Chief Minister Mr.Edappadi K.Palaniswami in the Secretariat, youth wing leader Mr.Mari Chakkaravarthy has said that the “August 7th event in Chennai is a deciding day for the BJP….the youth in this State are for Modi only….that is the message we got today and our youth wing protest cum rally is a message for other political parties in Tamil Nadu.”
The BJP youth wing rally began in Chepauk towards the Fort St.George, but due to permission reasons, a team separately went to meet the Chief Minister. The team was led by BJP State president Dr.Tamilisai Soundararajan.
Mr.Anoop Joseph (Prabhari), BJP Youth Wing national secretary in-charge of Tamil Nadu, Mr.Pon.Bala Ganapathi, general secretary and national youth wing senior leader Mr.Muruganandham were among those who participated in the Chennai protest and later attended important meetings,
Mr.P.Muralidhar Rao, BJP national general secretary, Mr.H.Raja, national secretary and Tamil Nadu BJP senior leader Mr.C.P.Radhakrishnan were among those who addressed the youth.
