MADURAI: Top officers of Rotary International have today assured that action will certainly be taken against Rotary District Governor-Elect businessman Mr.Ravi Raman of Rotary International District 3232 in Chennai who is facing investigation after he was arrested by police in Chennai in a Rs.118 crores cheating case and is now out on bail in the case for cheating a private firm and collecting money from investors in the name of promoting a IT park in Chennai.

“The Rotary International is waiting for the full story in this case about Rotary District Governor elect in Chennai District 3232. Rotary will certainly take action because ethics and integrity are important for any post in Rotary club. What happened in the cheating case and fraud case against our Rotary District Governor for 2023-24 Mr.Ravi Raman is in his business side, but the Rotary International will follow the 4-way test for district governor also which says that integrity and ethics is essential for Governor-elect,” Mr.A.S.Venkatesh, Rotary International Director, had assured while responding to a question raised by ‘Lotus Times’ media at a press conference in Madurai today- on April 21st 2023.

Rotary International Director Mr.A.S.Venkatesh had replied to the question about Chennai Rotary District 3232 Governor Mr.Ravi Raman when a question was asked by a journalist at a press meet addressed by Rotary International President for 2023-24 Mr.R.Gordon R.McInally who was in Madurai for a Rotary leadership conclave.
