MADURAI: One of the reputed flat promoters and a prominent apartment builder in Madurai city Mr.Meenakshi Sundaram of ‘SIVA SHELTERS’ has today clarified that he will not give his ‘office space’ which remains locked and closed in an apartment premises in Madurai DRO Colony, to the apartments’ association which is asking for its office purpose.
“The office room that is now kept locked in Sri Vijayalakshmi Apartments in DRO Colony Main Road in Madurai is my own property. It is in my wife’s name. It is our own property. My wife name is Mrs. Muthusundaram. That room is now may be closed and locked, but it is my property. I will not give it. No one can ask it because it is a property registered in my wife’s name. She is the owner and nothing to discuss on this matter. I have sold all the flats in that location 13 years back. What I have there is my own piece of small place that is registered in my wife’s name,” Mr.Meenakshisundaram told ‘Lotus Times’ media in Madurai on April 17th 2023.
This clarification from the apartments promoter of Sri Vijayalakshmi Apartments in Madurai DRO Colony was asked because some persons in association have been making an appeal to the builder and are expecting that they will get the builder’s closed office room as association office for the apartments association. (The flats were built more than 13 years ago and that location is popularly known as Old Lakshmi Theatre in DRO Colony in Madurai).
