MADURAI: Students of the Department of Fashion Designing of Lady Doak College in Madurai gave a stunning show of their creativity and innovative skills in designing of garments when they presented portfolio presentation at a special event- Esperanza’23- organized by the department on 11th April 2023.
There was a dazzling fashion walk by student designers and models who showed trendy and impressive themes in their designed garments. Costume designer Mr.T.John Peter who is director of Coimbatore Style Week and founder of JP Fashion House, was the chief guest. Dr.Christianna Singh, Principal and Secretary of LDC, presided over the function.
The event was organized by Head in-charge Fg offr S.G.Sagara along with portfolio incharge team of Ms.C.Vijisheema, Ms.Josalin Jemima Gnanamary J and faculty members Ms.K.Aruna, Ms.Sobithaa C, Ms.Renuka Devi U and Ms.Rajeswari A.
Dr.G.Sofia, associate professor and coordinator of Department of Fashion Designing, LDC, had introduced the chief guest.
