MADURAI: Thanks to IRCTC, a special Bharat Gaurav Train Tour named as ‘Punya Teerth Yathirai’ to Varanasi and other places is being arranged for tourists from May 4th to 15th 2023. This exclusive Bharat Gaurav Tourist train will start from Kochuveli in Thiruvananthapuram on May 4th 2023 and goes via Sengottai, Tenkasi, Rajapalayam, Sivakasi, Madurai, Tiruchi, Tambaram and Egmore.
The destinations and temples covered in this tour are Puri, Konark, Kolkata, Gaya, Varanasi, Ayodhya and Allahabad. A press release received from Southern Railway’s Madurai Division here today has informed that the ‘Bharat Gaurav Train’ will have four 3-tier AC coaches, seven sleeper coaches and one pantry car. The package cost per person is Rs.20,367 for economy and Rs.35,651 for comfort. South Indian vegetarian food and hotel accommodation are included in the tour package.
