MADURAI: Election for the Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) Senate will be held on December 28th 2022 (Wednesday) to elect MKU Senate members from Madurai, Dindigul, Theni and Virudhunagar districts. Candidates can file nomination till 4pm on 9th December 2022 (Friday).
Nomination papers can be obtained from the district collector’s office of respective four districts, a press release received from the Registrar in-charge of MKU here today has informed. Gazette notification for this election was issued in the Tamil Nadu Government gazette notification dated 30th November 2022.
Chairmen of Municipal Councils and of panchayat union councils in each revenue district in the MKU university area can file nomination and contest in the election.
