MADURAI: The Election Commission of India has distributed prizes to the winners of ‘SVEEP Contest-2022’ on 27th August 2022 to those who participated in the ‘Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation’ (SVEEP) 2022 competition and secured prizes as part of SVEEP contest among the general public about elections and electoral process. Mr.Anup Chandra Pandey, Election Commissioner of India, had given away the prizes to winners at an event organized by Chief Electoral Officer of Tamil Nadu.
The Madurai District winners are: 1. M.Affrin- general public essay Second Prize and 2. T. Naveen Prasath Yadav -SMS Quiz-DD (2nd prize). Madurai District Collector and election team officials from Madurai had congratulated the winners from Madurai, a press release from the collectorate here in Madurai on August 27th 2022 has informed.
