MADURAI: A book in Tamil which was authored by a senior psychiatrist in Madurai Dr. Mrs..Selvamani Thinakaran narrating about the mental condition created among people because of COVID pandemic was released here on August 19th 2022. She had explained the impact created on the state of mind due to Corona and how to come out of the stress caused by this pandemic.
The book titled ‘CORONAVUM MANANILAIYUM’ in Tamil was released at the book release function held in IMA Hall in Madurai. Madurai MP Mr.Su.Venkatesan released the 114 pages book and the first copy was received by Dr.Pugalagiri Vadamalayan. Senior psychiatrist and well known mental health expert in Tamil Nadu Dr.C.Ramasubramanian, Madurai MP Mr.Su.Venkatesan, Chairman and Managing Director of Vadamalayan Hospitals Dr.Pugalagiri Vadamalayan and ENT Surgeon Dr.K.R.Kannappan were among those who were invited for the book release event. Mr.T.Murugu Ilakkuvan welcomed the gathering.
Among those who were present during the book launch include Mr.Thiruvelan Ilakkuvanar, Dr.Sivalingam, Prof.Meikandan Avvai Duraisamy and Mr.N.Vinodhkumar.
