MADURAI: The Lady Doak College in Madurai had organized a symposium FOCUS 2022 focusing on industry and academia convergence. Mr.M.Ram, managing director, Paramount Textile Mills Pvt Ltd-Madurai, in his inaugural address, spoke in holistic development of students and creation of inner joy by achieving their goals. “When heart and mind synchronize, goals can be achieved,’ he exhorted the students at the symposium held on 4th April 2022.
Mr.Manjunath, founder and proprietor of Happy Hens Farm-Bangalore, has said that an entrepreneurial journey starts wherever there is a challenge to achieve, and students must learn from failures. Ms.Swarnaprada Jayaraj, Director, JC Residency, encouraged the students to convert their constraints into strengths. Mr.Prabhaharan Venugopal, founder of ‘Cup Time’ asserted that the gap between innovation and invention needs to be filled. There were interactive sessions for students and participants of FOCUS 2022, according to a press release received from the college here on April 6th 2022.
Dr.Christianna Singh, Principal and Secretary, Lady Doak College, presided over the symposium inauguration while Dr.Rosy Goswin, Head of Department of Commerce, welcomed the gathering and gave introductory remarks. Dr.Vanitha Malarvizhi, college Bursar, proposed a vote of thanks.
