MADURAI: The victory of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections and the party’s good performance in other States was celebrated by the BJP cadres in Madurai on 10th March 2022. Right from the morning, there was a jubilant mood among the saffron party functionaries as results started coming in, the party leaders in Madurai burst crackers and distributed sweets in important public places here.
BJP Madurai City urban district unit president Dr.P.Saravanan led the party functionaries in victory celebrations near Periyar Busstand in the city. Assembly elections were held in UP, Uttarakhand, Goa, Manipur and Punjab. The BJP was very particular about the winning of polls in the large State of Uttar Pradesh.
