MADURAI: The academic club of the Department of Biotechnology of Lady Doak College here had conducted a webinar on ‘patenting in life sciences’ on 10th February 2022. Mr.Vijaykumar Shivpuje, Honorary Advisor, National IPR Council, New Delhi and Director of Patlex Business Solutions / Co-founder of Pharma Literati, was the resource person. He spoke in the importance of patents, various approaches to file for a patent and how to obtain patent, a press release received from the college today said. Ninety students and faculty of LDC-Madurai had participated in the programme.
