MADURAI: The American College in Madurai has celebrated the 73rd Republic Day today – on 26th January 2022- with patriotic fervour and zeal with Principal Dr.M.Davamani Christober hoisting the national flag. He received the guard of honour from NCC and NSS students. He also hoisted the national tricolour at American College satellite campus in Chatrapatti near here. A press release received from the college has said that the Principal had exhorted students not to forget the sacrifices made by freedom fighters.
The Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry has celebrated Republic Day at its premises in Madurai today morning. Dr.N.Jegatheesan, president, TN Chamber, hoisted the national flag and delivered Republic Day address. Members of Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce were present at the R-Day celebrations.
