MADURAI: The Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) had organised a human chain demonstration in Madurai city today- on 12th January 2022- condemning the Congress government in Punjab for alleged security breach to Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi’s convoy during his visit to Ferozepur in Punjab last week.
BJP cadres took part in the human chain protest held near the party office at Bibikulam in Madurai city where BJP Madurai Urban district unit president Dr.P.Saravanan had lashed out at the Punjab government for its failure to provide security to Prime Minister Mr.Modi during his scheduled visit to Ferozepur in Punjab on 5th January 2022 to address a BJP rally there. The PM’s scheduled rally was cancelled as a group of protesters sat on road blocking the PM’s convoy from proceeding. Mr.Modi’s convoy was stuck on a flyover for 20 minutes.
Accusing the Congress party government in Punjab, Dr.Saravanan had organized a human chain demonstration in Madurai today.
