MADURAI: The Vadamalayan Hospitals in Madurai has today started administering of SPUTNIK V vaccine for Covid-19 and it will be available for people of 18 years age and above. on 9th July 2021, the hospital began COVID vaccination camp giving Russia’s Sputnik vaccine dose. The cost per dose is Rs.1,145 now and it will be as per government policy decision. Those who want to get Sputnik vaccine will have to register on cowin.gov.in or using the Co-Win app with mobile or Aadhar number. Walk-in registration at the vaccination centre is also available at Vadamalayan Hospital in Madurai.
People can register at the vaccination centre in the hospital from 10 am to 4 pm. They have to take Aadhar card, PAN card an d driving license (any two). The time gap between first dose and second dose of Sputnik vaccine is three weeks, a press release from Vadamalayan Hospitals here had informed today.
