MADURAI: The Southern Railway’s Madurai Division today made elaborate arrangements for following International Day of Yoga on 21st June 2021-Monday. This is the 7th year of Yoga Day being followed all over the world. Totally, 1,450 Railway staff, students and others in Madurai Division took part in the special yoga training practice session conducted in Madurai Division, a press release from Southern Railway Madurai Division had informed here today- on 21st June 2021. Dr.T.Ravichandran, founder of Mahatma Gandhi Yoga Institute in Madurai, helped the railway staff in Madurai Division to undergo yoga exercises session. The placed covered in Southern Railway’s Madurai Division today for the International Yoga Day participation include the railway employees from Tirunelveli, Karaikudi, Narikudi and Thoothukudi railway stations.
The yoga session was conducted online through internet by 20 railway employees coordinated from here through arrangements from Madurai Railway Marriage Hall- Railway Higher Secondary School.
