MADURAI: A special COVID vaccination camp for railway employees was conducted at five railway stations in Southern Railway Madurai Division on Monday-7th June 2021. Corona prevention vaccine was administered for railway employees through camp organized at Madurai, Tirunelveli, Dindigul, Virudhunagar and Sivakasi.
A press release received from Southern Railway Madurai Division here today informed that 552 railway staff were given vaccine through this COVID-19 vaccination camp. Totally till now, 4,494 railway staff of the total 7,879 railway staff working in Madurai Division were administered COVID vaccine and this means 57 per cent of railway employees in Madurai Division of Southern Railway have been given first dose vaccine, the press release added.
