650 pulse oximeters donated to Madurai GRH

MADURAI: As an important and timely gesture, the Tamil Nadu Foodgrains Merchants Association here had donated 650 Pulse Oximeters (total cost Rs.5 lakhs) to Government Rajaji Hospital (GRH) in Madurai, joining hands with the government to help Corona patients during this COVID crisis period.

Mr.S.P.Jeyapragasam, association president, has said in a communication here dated 26th May 2021 that the Tamil Nadu Foodgrains Merchants Association in Madurai is giving 650 pulse oximeters costing Rs.5 lakhs to the Madurai GRH and also Rs.3.2 lakhs to the corporation’s medical kits allopathy kits requirement.

The association office-bearers led by its president Mr.S.P.Jeyapragasam handed over their contribution in the presence of Commercial Taxes Minister Mr.P.Moorthy, Madurai District Collector Mr.S.Aneesh Sekhar, Madurai Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan and others, according to information given by Mr.Jeyapragasam on May 26th 2021.
