MADURAI: Queen Mira International School (QMIS) in Madurai has achieved global recognition as this well-quipped educational institution has been granted the Council of International Schools (CIS) accreditation after a rigorous evaluation process. The school campus at Kochadai in Madurai was filled with joy and celebration on March 20th 2021 as QMIS management had addressed a press conference to announce the accomplishment.
HAPPY SCHOOLING AND HIGH QUALITY LEARNING:
Dr.C.Chandran, chairman, QMIS, Mr.Abinath Chandran, managing director of the school and Ms.Sujatha Guptan, Director-Academics had briefed the mediapersons yesterday about the CIS accreditation and how this global tag takes QMIS go beyond boundaries from the temple city of Madurai. “The evaluation was done in nine domains. The CIS accreditation means a lot for us because it has given a global benchmark for deliverance of high quality learning, global citizenship add maintenance of international safety standards,” Mr.Abinath Chandran and Ms.Sujatha Guptan have explained to the reporters.
ONLY FOUR SCHOOLS IN TAMIL NADU:
Ms.Sujatha Guptan had informed that 19 schools in India and four schools in Tamil Nadu have been granted CIS accreditation. “QMIS is a CBSE school committed to impart top class high quality education of international standards. There is a huge transformation in our campus……..and ultimately our students will benefit,” Mr.Abinath Chandran added. The Council of International Schools is headquartered in Netherlands.
QMIS chairman Dr.C.Chandran has said that it is a proud moment for Madurai because a school from here has reached global arena after five years of international evaluation. Teaching practices, happy learning, happy schooling, collaborative classrooms, global connect, emotional safety of students, child protection and student-driven classrooms are among the domains.
