MADURAI: In an important public announcement, the Southern Railway has today informed that Chennai-Madurai-Chennai TEJAS Express Special Train (6 days a week) is cancelled from 4th January 2021 on both ways from 04-01-2021, due to poor occupancy.
A press release was received from the Madurai Division of Southern Railway here on 24th December 2020 informing to the public and passengers that the TEJAS Express Special Train (Train numbers 02613 and 02614) had to be cancelled from January 4th 2021 due to very less and poor patronage and many seats are vacant because of very less bookings. Also, a separate schedule of changes of train timings of other trains in the route was also announced today.
