MADURAI: Governor of Tamil Nadu Mr.Banwarilal Purohit has today given his assent to the 7.5 per cent medical quota Bill that benefits students of government schools who wants to join medical colleges after NEET exam. His assent was given on 30th October 2020 after receiving legal opinion from the Solicitor General of India Mr.Tushar Mehta.
The legal opinion from SGI was received by the Tamil Nadu Governor on 29th October 2020.
