MADURAI: The Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) in Madurai seems to be getting into yet another controversy after the recently alleged distance education scandal. Now, it is with regard to implementation of Career Advancement Scheme (CAS) which is getting delayed and an appeal was made to the MKU Vice-Chancellor Prof.M.Krishnan to follow the UGC norms immediately, and not to implement the redeployment of teaching staff from Annamalai University in MKU here.
Dr.P.Nagoorkani, Assistant Professor of Modern History, School of Historical Studies, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, wrote to the Vice-Chancellor Dr.M.Krishnan urging him to implement CAS as per UGC guidelines. The letter was sent to the VC in September, dated 24th September 2020, by Dr.Nagoorkani.
