MADURAI: A very urgent-time bound communication was sent to all the Deputy Directors of Health Services in Tamil Nadu by the Director of Public Health and Preventive Medicine of Government of Tamil Nadu Dr.T.S.Selvavinayagam through an important letter sent to them on 19th September 2020.
“The Government of India is going to introduce vaccine against COVID-19 in near future……All the DDs of Health Services must keep their staff ready with micro plan for COVID vaccination. The district level consolidated micro plan should be sent to the Directorate of Public Health headquarters at Chennai before 15th October 2020,” the Director of Public Health has said in this urgent communication.
Sources said today that a rapid plan of action is getting ready for Tamil Nadu for Corona vaccination and there is a possibility that it will be in full swing in November.
