IN MADURAI THIRUPPALAI MANDAL, IT IS A BOOSTER SUNDAY FOR BJP

MADURAI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is making deep inroads into the grassroot pockets in Thiruppalai Mandal area in Madurai as there is a swelling ground level support for the party.
 
It was a ‘Super Sunday‘ on July 2nd 2017 (Sunday) for the BJP Madurai urban district unit which undertook a three-hour extensive door-to-door people connect programme as a part of the party’s ‘Vistarak’ initiative to expand and strengthen at the booth level.
 
While a large number of local residents in Thiruppalai mandal expressed their support to the party, a sizable number of voters had taken BJP membership and further said that they will bring more people into the party soon.
 
Tamil Nadu BJP State Secretary Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan, Thiruppalai Mandal president S.Perumal, Pudur Mandal president R.Jothi Manivannan (Sankar), district secretary Sunitha Mallady and a good number of ward level cadres went around several areas explaining about Modi government schemes and the reasons why BJP should win in Tamil Nadu also for good governance.
 
MANY AREAS COVERED:
 
The areas covered include Kosakulam Periyar Nagar (Booth 99 – Ward 3), Aanaiyur (booth 83) and Narayanapuram (Ward 49) where locally prominent persons joined the party and received membership card from Dr.Srinivasan.
 
In fact, in several interior localities in Thiruppalai Mandal in Madurai city, people are not only aware about the good work of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but they are also beneficiaries of the affordable housing scheme of Modi government. 
The BJP team was buoyant after lot of women came out to express their support in Kosakulam. Mr.Perumal explained about the Selvamagal scheme that benefits girl child and the insurance schemes launched by Modi at a very low premium amount.
 
PRAYER IN TEMPLE:
 
At Aanaiyur, the BJP team offered prayers at the famous 300-year-old Odai Vinayagar Koil. After that, R.Harischandran, a prominent businessman in that area along with his family members, joined the party and also subscribed to the party magazine mouthpiece Ore Naadu.
 
Party functionaries including K.K.Nagar M.Kannan who is the ‘prabhari’ for Madurai North Assembly Constituency and P.Rajendran, president of Ward 26, participated in the BJP’s mission of journey for victory in Thiruppalai mandal areas on July 2nd (Sunday).
