MADURAI: The Tamil Nadu Foodgrains Merchants Association has appealed from Madurai today to the Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Mr.Piyush Goyal and to the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on 16th September 2020, and also to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Mr.Edappadi K.Palanisamy to extend the date of imports of the permitted four lakh tonnes of Urad till 31st March 2021.
