MADURAI: Railway Higher Secondary School in Madurai had celebrated its 131st annual day here on April 16th 2025 with grandeur and enthusiasm as the campus radiated with academic excellence, cultural vibrancy and students’ accomplishments.
Mr.Sharad Srivastava, Divisional Railway Manager, spoke on how education shapes future leaders while Mr.L.Nageswara Rao, Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM), praised the discipline and multi-talents of students, a press release here has said.
A cultural program was organized to showcase India’s artistic richness and youthful creativity through classical and folk dances, skits and captivating acts by the students. In recognition of the school’s momentous event, the DRM Mr.Sharad Srivastava had announced a cash award of Rs.10,000 to the school for its extraordinary efforts
Mrs.A.Anjammal, Principal, Railway Higher Secondary School, welcomed the gathering while Mr.A.Paulsekar, PG teacher, had proposed a vote of thanks. School teacher Mr.M.Tamil Chezhian had presented the academic year annual report highlighting the school’s achievements and progress, the press release added.
