CHENNAI: Dr.Vinod Surana, managing partner of Chennai-based Surana & Surana International Attorneys, was conferred the prestigious ‘Capital Foundation Attorney General K.Parasaran Award’ at a function held at Constitution Club of India in New Delhi on March 16th 2025.
This award was presented to him in the presence of several senior advocates, Members of Parliament, Advocate Generals, civil society representatives and emient people from various walks of life in the national capital, a press release received from Surana & Surana International Attorneys, has informed here today.
Dr.Vinod Surana was chosen for the award in recognition of his contribution to the development of advocacy, mediation and legal education in India for more than last three decades. Justice A.K.Patnaik, former judge, Supreme Court of India, Justice Madan B Lokur, former Judge of Supreme Court of India and Chairman of UN International Justice Council, were invited for the awards presentation program along with senior professor and Padma Sri awardee Prof.Upendra Bakshi, the press release said.
Other awardees include Prof.Upendra Bakshi, senior professor, Prof.Dr.Balram K Gupta, senior advocate and former director of National Judicial Academy, Dr.Randeep Guleria (Padma Sri awardee), Director, Medanta Medical School, Mr.Anand Desai, managing partner, DSK Legal and member of London Court of International Arbitration and Mr.V.Giri, former judge of Kerala High Court and senior advocate, the press release added.
