MADURAI: A website to disseminate more information to people on why National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is not acceptable is being launched in Chennai tomorrow-March 10th 2025. This website initiative was taken by the State Platform for Common School System-Tamil Nadu (SPCSS-TN) which has been vehemently opposing NEP.
An important press conference is being organized in Chennai tomorrow after this website launch and to draw immediate attention for the Tamil Nadu Bill pending Presidential assent, the report of the committee constituted for evolving State Education Policy and the draft HECI Bill that deals with higher education issues in the country.
The website launch will be held at Pantheon Road in Chennai on March 10th 2025 morning and it is being launched by Ms.M.Nandini and Mr.B.R.Murali, the mother and father of children studying in Chennai corporation school.
Dr.P.Ratnasabapathy, president, State Platform for Common School System-Tamil Nadu and its general secretary Mr.P.B.Prince Gajendra Babu will jointly address the media to discuss the immediate challenges confronting school education and higher education, and they will also explain about the website which will trigger more public discussion on why NEP 2020 is not acceptable.
