MADURAI: The Directorate of Collegiate Education (DCE) of Government of Tamil Nadu has clearly confirmed that extension was not given to Dr.M.Davamani Christober to be the Secretary of prestigious The American College in Madurai after his tenure as American College Secretary was over on January 27th 2025.
Responding to a question asked by a well-wisher of The American College in Madurai Mr.Rajasekaran under the Right to Information Act (RTI), the reply given by the DCE on February 24th 2025 was that the term of American College Principal Dr.M.Davamani Christober was over on January 27th 2025 and the Directorate of Collegiate Education of Government of Tamil Nadu has not extended his period as The American College Secretary anymore, the Government has clarified to the RTI query and received in Madurai with DCE office signing date 25th February 2025 in response to the question asked through RTI about the American College Principal Dr.M.Davamani Christober.
