Student innovators showcase their ideas talent at IDE boot camp underway at Dindigul PSNA Engg College

DINDIGUL: Student innovators and young minds with design and entrepreneurship talent got an opportunity to showcase their ideas at the second edition-phase 2 of Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship (IDE) boot camp that began at PSNA College of Engineering and Technology in Dindigul yesterday-February 17th 2025.

Mr.S.Udhaya Shanker, Assistant Controller, Patent Office-Chennai, inaugurated this IDE boot camp camp which is considered as a significant step towards fostering innovation and entrepreneurship skills among students.

An exhibition by student innovators to showcase 23 projects spanning diverse domains like IoT Internet of Things, agriculture and healthcare stands as a highlight of this camp which provided a platform for young minds to present their innovations and encourage knowledge sharing.

Mr.Girish Kumar Bhasin, Assistant Director, AICTE and Mr.R.Anandasivaraj, Manager (IP & Technology Transfer-AICTE) and Ms.Anbumathi, expert trainer from Wadhwani Foundation, were present at the inaugural event of the camp to share their insights on entrepreneurship and innovation, a press release received from the college yesterday has said.

Mr.Surya Raguraam, PSNA Trustee, Dr.D.Vasudevan, Principal, Dr.R.Pushpa Lakshmi (HOD-CSE Cyber Security) and Dr.T.Hemalatha, HOD-AI & DS, were also present at the inaugural session while the central inauguration of IDE boot camp was presided over by Prof.T.G.Sitharam, Chairman, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), who motivated the students by saying that the IDE bootcamp from February 17th to February 21st 2025 will serve as a catalyst for innovation and inspires young innovators to transform their ideas into reality thanks to the support of Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and the AICTE.
