Constitution is our country’s great foundation: Advocate Samidurai exhorts Al-Ameen School students on 76th Republic Day

MADURAI: Senior advocate and State president of Indian Association of Lawyers Mr.K.Samidurai had today exhorted the students and younger generation to always remember the great sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the contributions made by Dr.B.R.Ambedkar and members of the Constituent Assembly who drafted the Constitution of India.

“You must know the remarkable work done by eminent people great persons like K.M.Munshi, K.T.Shah, and N.Gopalaswami Ayyangar while drafting the Constitution. Dr.B.R.Ambedkar gave us a visionary Constitution and it is our duty to remember the strong foundation laid by them and right direction shown for India,” Mr.K.Samidurai has said while addressing the students after unfurling the national flag at 76th Republic Day celebration in Al-Ameen Higher Secondary School in K.Pudur in Madurai today-January 26th 2025.

He spoke about the fundamental rights that are enshrined in the Constitution of India and the Preamble which had ensured equality and secularism. “We are fortunate to have been born in this great country. Because of freedom fighters’ sacrifices, we are having fundamental rights and celebrating the Republic Day today,” Mr.K.Samidurai added.

The special invitees for Republic Day celebrations include social activist Mr.Francis Bastiyan and Tamil scholar Mr.V.Sundaralingam along with Tamil Iyakkam Madurai district office-bearers Mr.Palanisamy and Mr.M.Mariappan and others.

Al-Ameen Higher Secondary School Headmaster Mr.Sheik Nabi in his welcome address spoke about the various activities being implemented by the school and how Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Mr.M.K.Stalin had presented 200 books to the school library by immediately responding to an appeal letter sent to him seeking his help.
