MADURAI: Special trains will be operated between Madurai Junction and Palani for the Thaipoosam festival at Palani temple on February 11th and February 12th 2025.
Train number 06722 Madurai Junction-Palani unreserved special train will leave Madurai junction at 8.45 am on February 11th 2025 Tuesday and on also on February 12th Wednesday and reach Palani at 11.30 am on the same day, a press release from Madurai Division of Southern Railway here has informed today about the special trains.
In return direction, train number 06721 Palani-Madurai Junction special will leave Palani at 3 pm on February 11th Tuesday and also on February 12th Wednesday and arrive at Madurai Junction at 5.45 pm on the same day, the press release added. This train will stop at Sholavandan, Kodaikanal Road, Ambathurai, Dindigul and Ottanchatram. It will have 16 second class coaches and two luggage cum brake van coaches.
