MADURAI: Hundreds of job seekers and youth thronged the MADITSSIA Hall in Madurai today- December 28th 2024-where a job fair was organized jointly by all Rotary Clubs of Madurai and trade body MADITSSIA by bringing about 32 companies from different fields under one roof.
The participating companies had put up their stalls and started the recruitment process for various jobs for the 2024 passed out candidates including graduates, diploma courses, ITI, vocational courses, 10th and 12th passed students.
Several jobs are on offer in this job fair and the salary range is from Rs.10,000 to Rs.40,000 per month depending on the company and the job profile. Some of the companies that took part in the ‘Vaagai Job Fair’ in Madurai today include Plan and Built, Aurolab, PTC Perungayam, Kumar Ceramics, Suxus Mens Wear, Praneesha Food and Beverage, Chella Software and Aparajitha.
Mr.R.Raja Govindasamy, Rotary District Governor 2024-25, Mr.A.Leo Felix Louis, Rotary District Governor Nominee Designate 2027-28, Mr.D.Sivasankar, Rotary district chairman (job fair), Er.Gopison MM, chairman, Vaagai Job Fair 2024, Mr.S.Anand Kumar, all club treasurer coordinator, Mr.S.Dass Kumar, all club president coordinator, MADITSSIA’s M.Chandrasekaran and P.J.Bansidhar were among those present at the inauguration of the job fair today morning and they went around the stalls interacting with company staff and candidates who came with their resume to attend the job fair.
The ‘Vaagai Job Fair’ is being organized for the second time by the Rotary Clubs in Madurai which come under Rotary International District 3000.
