MADURAI: The 5th anniversary celebration of Madurai Public Relation Officers’ Federation (MPF) was celebrated here yesterday evening- December 25th 2024- with a three in one event that included releasing of the new year 2025 calendar, felicitating three award winners and the fifth year anniversary celebration.
Mr.B.Vasanthan, Regional Passport Officer-Madurai, took part in the event and felicitated the awardees while Mr.BSG Musthafa of Meraj Travels had released the calendar and first copy of 2025 calendar was received by Mr.K.Vasanthavel, proprietor of ‘Maan mark’ rice and secretary of Madurai District Basketball Association.
The three awardees who were felicitated are ophthalmologist Dr.Usha Kim, chief of Orbit Department and Regional Director HR, Aravind Eye Hospital-Madurai for the international award she was conferred recently and National Best Teacher Awardee R.S.Muralidharan of TVS School and national level 50 meter freestyle swimming gold medalist M.V.Lakshitha Shree, a press release received from the federation has informed.
Madurai Public Relation Officers’ Federation president Mr.J.Murali had presided over the function and gave a brief report on various activities carried out by MPF since its inception. MPF secretary Mr.S.G. Ramanathan had welcomed the gathering and this event was conducted by MPF organizing team including Mr.Gokul Nambi, Saravananathan, Santhanakrishnan, Ilamathi and Srinivasan while Mr.Santhosh had proposed a vote of thanks, the press release added.
