MADURAI: A job fair is being organized at MADITSSIA Hall in Madurai on December 28th 2024 Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm jointly by all Rotary Clubs of Madurai (Rotary District 3000) and the Madurai District Tiny & Small Scale Industries Association (MADITSSIA).
This recruitment fair which is named as “Vaagai Job Fair’ will have a participation of 32 companies and there is a requirement of around 500 suitable candidates. Those candidates who passed out in 2024 as graduates, diploma, ITI, vocational courses, 10th and 12th passed out students can participate in this job fair in Madurai on December 28th 2024. Already some candidates had registered for this job fair and we are expecting more than 2,000 eligible candidates in this Madurai job fair which has 500 jobs on offer. from IT, digital marketing, accounts, content creators, architect, engineering, nursing etc with a salary offer of Rs.10,000 to Rs.40,000 per month as salary,” Er.Gopison MM, job fair chairman, told reporters at the press meet in Madurai today.
Mr.R.Raja Govindasamy, Rotary District Governor 2024-25 of Rotary International District 3000, said that ‘Vaagai Job Fair’ is a special project for the Rotary clubs and this job fair is being organized by all Rotary Clubs of Madurai in association with MADITSSIA.
“Our Rotary movement always focuses on vocational service, youth empowerment and skill training. Thanks to the support of MADITSSIA in Madurai, we are conducting the job fair on December 28th 2024. Giving job opportunities is the focus and this is the 2nd time we are organizing the ‘Vaagai Job Fair’ in Madurai to show job opportunities for our students who are passing out of colleges,” Rtn.R.Raja Govindasamy, Rotary District Governor 2024-25, said at the press meet in Madurai today.
Rtn.D.Sivasankar, job fair district chairman, Rtn. S.Dass Kumar. all club president and coordinator, Rtn.S.Anand Kumar, all club treasurer and Rtn.Er.S.Praveen, all club secretary, were among those present along with Rotary members J.Ashok and Ms.Saranya at the press meet in Madurai held at MADITSSIA Hall in Madurai on December 26th 2024 where it was clearly informed that the job fair is open for freshers, part time and experienced candidates. There is no registration charges, it is totally free and candidates can walk-in to attend the job fair selection process.
