Trade Fair in Madurai from Dec 22nd to 25th at Tamukkam with 150 stalls and lucky draw gifts; ENTRY FREE for visitors

MADURAI: The Tamil Nadu Foodgrains Merchants Association is organizing ‘TFMA Trade Fair’ at Tamukkam Convention Centre in Madurai from December 22nd (Sunday) to December 25th 2024. There will be 150 stalls in this expo and entry is free to the visitors and the timing is from 11 am to 9 pm.

Speaking to reporters here today, honorary advisor Mr.S.P.Jeyapragasam has said that this fair is to celebrate the association’s 80th anniversary and there will be free gifts offered to the visitors who will be selected by lucky draw on all the four days of this trade fair.

“We have made special arrangements to attract a large number of visitors. There will be lucky draws at different timings each day and free gifts like household and FMCG items besides gift hampers will be presented to the lucky draw winners. Our association is conducting this trade fair for the first time and we are sure that the people will enjoy this exhibition and stalls,” he added.

The gifts for lucky draw include android mobiles, household items, mattress, Sungudi sarees etc and there is a Suzuki Access two-wheeler as a bumper prize on December 25th. Totally gifts worth Rs.15 lakhs will be given by draw. The stalls include dresses, ornaments, beauty products, electronic goods, food items, real estate companies, SVS flour products, toy shops, pickles, packaging items, construction materials, milk products, appalam and vadagam etc besides a variety of snacks and masala products.

Mr.S.Dinesh Kumar, Madurai Corporation Commissioner, will inaugurate the TFMA Trade Fair on Sunday evening at 5 pm in the presence of Mr.P.Jebanath Julius, Regional Manager, Tamilnad Mercantile Bank and others. A.S.V.A.Mathavan, chairman, TFMA Trade Fair 2024 and co-chairmen S.V.Suraj Sundara Shankar, G.Thirumurugan and S.Vinod Kannah were among those present at the press meet held in Madurai today, along with other office-bearers of the association.
