MADURAI: Nominations for the 8th edition of ‘ALERT Being Award’ are now open to honour life-saving individuals and organizations across India with awards who acted quickly as Good Samaritans to save human life and showing the spirit of being an ‘Alert Being’ to save a life.
ALERT is a voluntary non-profit organization working from Chennai that empowers a common man to act in case of emergency and save lives. Nominations for the ‘Alert Being Awards’ are open now for good samaritans across India and the last date of nomination is December 20th 2024. The shortlisted awardees will be honoured at the ALERT BEING AWARDS 2024 ceremony in Chennai in February 2025.
“This award honours Good Samaritans who have selflessly saved human lives during emergencies….and this award recognizes their courage. compassion and exemplary service to humanity. Alert Bring Awards will be presented in different categories of individual, organization etc and going beyond the call of duty. This year ALERT BEING AWARDS will be presented to 10 Good Samaritans in India who saved the lives,” a press release has informed yesterday.
JURY MEMBERS TO SELECT AWARDEES:
The members of jury are Md.Shakeel Akhtar IPS DGP Retd TN State Chief Information Commissioner, Dr.J.S.Rajkumar, Chairman, LIMA, Nawabzada Mohammed Asif Ali, Dewan to the Prince of Arcot-Chennai, Ms.Veena Kumaravel, founder, Naturals Group of Salons, Mr.Sujith Kumar, founder, Maatram Foundation and Mr.Anandakrishnan who is a serial entrepreneur.
This jury will shortlist the awardees from the nominations who get nominated for the award and the advisors of the event are Dr.Renuka David, MD, Radiant Medical Services and Mr.C K Kumaravel, CEO and Co-founder, Naturals Salon & Spa.
Individuals and organizations from across India who created impact through life-saving acts can be nominated for the award. The last date for submitting nominations is December 20th 2024.
